I am wondering what the deciding factor for your application was, and why.

I am looking for solid reasons as to why I would want to go with one or another.

You can use the tool to get the JS code you need to create a marker on your google maps.

I have a web application using google maps, specifically using infoWindows on google maps.

Whenever a user right-clicks inside the infowindow, firefox 3.0.3 on a MAC throws this error to firebug:

this.showContextMenu is not a function
http://localhost/2.12/js/ajax.js

Now, I know this is not an ajax.js problem, and I have researched a similar problem a plugin developer had here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=708055

If you know what this error is, or how to fix it I would love to know, as it could cause problems for my users when the software deploys.
