A lot of sites out there have started adding icons to their servers so that when you visit with your IPhone and add a bookmark to your Home Screen it shows their icon, instead of a screen shot of the page you were looking at.
You can find these icons one of two ways. The first is, try to make a bookmark to your home screen and see if a special icon comes up. The second is see if this image comes up: http://www.domain.com/apple-touch-icon.png where domain.com is the website you are looking at.
