Thoughts

Friday, February 29th, 2008

In an effort to still post to this blog, I am just posting my random thoughts here.

Orange Monster Energy Drink, the jury is still out

Al Roker is such a tool, he never has anything to say when the cameras are leaving him other than

“That’s whats happening around the country, here’s whats happening in your neck of the woods”.

He is a tool not for saying this, but for saying every time. Even when he has CLEARLY not been talking about

“What’s happening around the country”

Cake’s Rock Star Lifestyle (Motorcade of Generosity) is my new favorite song.

“Is it you or your parents in this income tax bracket”

me: are you DRY?
tim: i try not to repeat myself
me: haha
tim: and i’m also not covered by any liquid, nor am i drunk
tim: (sadly)
me: damn, so you are a dusty, sober, nerd who refuses to be redundant
tim: Almost the exact opposite of myself on a saturday night!
me: grosss
tim: i get cleaned up, tanked, and constatly repeat my (often confused) selkf
me: I find that I often become quite loquacious when I am drinking.
Also, that you have to be loquacious to know what loquacious means.

tim: somewhere a 37signals staff member is crying
tim: =)

Suppressing Wordpress Database errors

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

This might only apply to 2.2.2 but hopefully not.

at the very first line of your very first piece of code in your template do this:

$wpdb->hide_errors();

If you want to, you can do it in your header file with:

global $wpdb;

$wpdb->hide_errors();

Oh god, Im so glad it’s finally over…
