I’ve made a decision about web comics.

They are amazing. So, I have made a second equally or even more important and life changing in its nature.

I will seemingly randomly (at least to your reference) post a list of recent web comics that I have found that made me giggle, barf, throw up a little in my mouth, spray my drink, or squirt a little (you can come up with where the squirting comes from).

A note, I decidedly like the nerdy comics, the nerdier the better. One of which that I recently discovered is What the Duck (WTD). It is from a photographer’s point of view, but fits the web development world to a T. Also I love XKCD and Penny Arcade.

Here is the first edition, from comics I read recently:

You’ve got Smail

My Comeuppance

Liquor is Quicker

Last Laugh

Nighttime Stories - I agree. I loved Ender’s Game, I have read it probably 10 times. That is the only book on the planet that I have read more than twice, and that wasn’t one of those books that kids read repeatedly. Except Dr. Seuss, which I would admit to still reading when I am in Dr’s Offices. I liked the other Ender’s Books, but not until I was 22, when I was 15/16 and reading them I was thinking to myself, “WTF? This is not even remotely interesting”. But, I will have to say though, that when Orson Scott Card Came out with the Shadow Series (I call it the Bean Series, as it follows him) I was intrigued. I read every book, and didn’t stop till they were finished. I entered the book, and that just does not happen for me. I have read the first two of the Shadow series multiple times as well. But, back to the subject, I totally agree that Ender’s Game is WAY better than the remaining books in that series, and fits much better with the intensity and flow of the Shadow Series. BTW, how amazing is Orson Scott Card that he can write two series of books that start in the same time period, the first then leaves and goes thousands of years into the future, and the second stays in the past cleaning up the unanswered questions the first series left hanging. Its good, real good.
